   We have a new Pope and his name is not Donald J. Trump but since Leo XIV was born in Chicago I’m sure The Orange Guy will at some point take credit for this event.

   Speaking of taking credit or shifting the blame, THE GREAT MANIPULATOR has warned GOP members that they may face hardships at the polls during the mid terms elections (543 days to the mid term election, November 3, 2026)  if they do not raise taxes on the wealthiest earners as part of his “big, beautiful bill”. Me thinks the voters in November will at some point rebel against or come to their senses and vote the Maga Manaics out.

   THE GLOBAL DISRUPTER also blinked again about tariffs. He is now lowering China’s share from 145% to 80%, probably because China won’t accept his calls, nor come to the table until a reasonable alternative is offered. Expect a huge disappointment in Switzerland. Then, there is the fact that Republicans fear the political repercussions of any cuts to Medicare. We boomers rely on Medicare and  Social Security. The two programs combined have spent nearly $1.5 trillion in the fiscal year, up $70 billion from the past year.

   DOGE is cutting and slashing away reducing the size of the governmental workforce yet the federal deficit has increased by $196 BILLION so far this fiscal year (October 1, 2024-present). From January through April, the first three and a half months of “The  self proclaimed boss of everyone and everything” term, spending increased by $166 billion.

   Oh, and the $TRUMP meme coin has plunged 85% from its peak. Let us not forget that DAFFY DON personally profited to the tune of $15 Million on this little caper. Me only hopes that Alcatraz will be ready for him and his legion of BARRATORS when the shit hits the fan.

  Time for some math:

May 11: 365 X 4 + 1= 1461 days - 111= 1350 Days To Go

May 11: Musk is only (legally) allowed 130 days as a “special advisor” for DOGE (19 days to go)…

May 11: 542 days to the mid term election, November 3, 2026… to be continued
