   One day after The FORMER TABLOID FIXTURE took the oath of office for a second time he said, “I don’t know” when asked if he had an obligation to uphold the Constitution.  One hundred plus a few days later THE GREAT MANIPULATOR reiterated that sentiment on “MEET THE PRESS” offering a few gems…“I don’t know,” Mr. Trump replied. “I’m not, I’m not a lawyer. I don’t know.”…When reminded that the Fifth Amendment says as much and it was in his oath of office, he responded, “I don’t know, It seems — it might say that, but…” blah, blah, blah…according to him he has “brilliant lawyers” when asked whether he needed to “uphold the Constitution of the United States.” As in, let them, his brilliant lawyers tell him what he can and can not do, not the courts…

   This ORANGE GUY has attacked judges, called for their impeachment and ignored a Supreme Court ruling. Looking back to an ancient Civics class I vaguely, as does DAFFY DON probably, vaguely remember something about a “balance of power, three branches, etc”. More significantly, a book I read (Fred Friendly, et.al)  described this phenomena as a “delicate balance” of power.This brings to mind “Judicial review” where by these judges can strike down laws if they violate the Constitution. The notion came from the Supreme Court’s 1803 decision in Marbury v. Madison. However, it is vital to keep in mind that The Supreme Court can’t actually enforce its rulings. It relies on the president and Congress to believe in the courts and take their judgments seriously. DUH… we are screwed for sure…

   On a good note, DAFFY DON is resurrecting ALCATRAZ as a federal functioning maximum security prison. This expensive renovation will take mucho money and years to complete, probably just in time for either he or one of his kids…to be continued…
