   Did we as an American culture go too far? Perhaps we were too concerned with Political Correctness, PC bullshit which when offered offended a certain population. Erase it, change it, be woke. OR on the contrary side “Boycott Bud Light” because it promotes transgenders. Hey DEMS, wokeness helped to beat you.

   The “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History” order issued by  THE FABRICATOR EXTRAORDINAIRE attempts to eliminate

“anti-American ideology”. It calls for the restoration of “monuments, memorials, statues, markers” around the country that have been removed over the past five years, a period in which many such structures depicting Confederate figures were dismantled. It also directs the interior secretary to “complete restorations and improvements” to Independence Hall in Philadelphia as the nation gears up for patriotic celebrations next year, the United States’ semiquincentennial. July 4, 2026, will be the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of the Independence.

   In response to the Presidential Order (WaPo Sat 3/29) a visitor to the Smithsonian, an Institute currently being affected by the order stated, “The victors do not get to rewrite the history, We can’t let them. But I feel like that’s what is happening.” That sentiment continued with current and former members of the institution’s board of regents who condemned the edict.

   Next up was the National Museum of African American History and Culture…hmmm, I offered a thought to which I will reiterate…How long before the Black National Anthem is banned at some sporting events? The Canadian Anthem at US arena hockey games??? Welcome to 1984, again…
