#45: Day TWO in Review/It's a Sunday and His Pants Are On Fire

Day Two:
Imagine being Sean Spicer. You got this new gig and the first time you approach the microphone as Press Secretary for #45 you know this job is gonna suck big time. You look around at all the "sharks" ready to pounce as they smell blood. So you think lie. Hey my boss did it so why not give the press what later will be remembered as "alternative facts". I wish I would have had that phrase in my vocabulary as a teen trying to escape some questioning by my parents.
Alternative fact #1:The crowd at the Inauguration was the best attended. Yo Sean, look at the photos. Oh Bossman said bad camera angles.Bad angles my ass.And #44 in 2009 was the largest, still.
#2:Ridership on Washington's public transit was higher this inauguration than 2013.As if I cared, but still not true OR "it's an alternative fact".
#3,#4,#5: WHO CARES about floor coverings, fencing, etc? Facts are facts.Sean tell KellyAnn,my newest favorite comedian in charge, that there is no such thing as an "alternative fact", just fact.

So let's here from some press folks on Sean's first attempt to inform us. Glenn Kessler of the WASHINGTON POST wrote, "This is an appalling performance by the new press secretary."
Another, Linda Qui stated, "Pants on Fire".
Nice job Sean.

And then KellyAnn Conway is on MEET THE PRESS (NBC) and is confronted with Chuck Todd's allegation that:“Four of the five facts he uttered were just not true,”. “‘Alternative facts’ are not facts.”.
How dare him question our "facts".

Okay enough about Sean. Let's talk arrogance now. KellyAnn makes a bold announcement that most Americans are past the point of caring if or when #45 will release his taxes returns. She actually stated something along the lines of "get over it, never".

While this news day is going on folks, mostly women, are resting comfortably after making a huge statement of protest on Saturday. NYC figures estimate that 400,000 people took part in a WOMEN'S MARCH in #45's hometown, soon to be the epicenter of resistance.

Not too shabby for Day 2 and Day 3 of the new administration.

Just remember the start of the third chorus of #45's Inaugural Ball song, MY WAY..."Yes,there were times, I'm sure you knew, When I bit off more than I could chew"...Yeah.

The First Day of The Rest of Our Lives

At noon today the 45th President of The United States of America will be sworn in, President Donald Trump. Sorta has a ring to it however strange it may sound. Just going back in my mind to a time not too long ago when"The Donald", as he was known, was a businessman of debatable success; some say bankrupt others say billionaire,Whatever. Most of the American citizens never saw him as presidential by any stretch of the imagination. And if you say you did....No, you didn't.But today...

It's a new dawn with a new administration. Sure there will be a "honeymoon" period where we the public will offer the benefit of doubt to his new cabinet members, etc. Yet I know personally that many of his staunch supporters expect immediate change (remove replace OBAMACARE, strengthen the SUPREME COURT, curtail IMMIGRATION, and get the terrorists )while those who opposed him are waiting patiently until this coming Tuesday when "the wall" will be finished. Regardless of which side of the fence (no pun...well,okay) you are on, one only hopes that our 45th president will be good for our country.

We, the people, should offer no ill will toward our president, ever. Unfortunetly, our out going President #44 did not and still this morning did not receive the same graces. So to this I offer my best wishes and sincerest thank you to President #44. May the Good Lord look over you and your family and remember WE THE PEOPLE are forever in your debt for taking on the responsibility of Commander In Chief of the Greatest Nation on Earth for the last eight years. While at the same time I offer President#45 the same prayer and thank you.
