The Autopsy of A Political Party:

INTRODUCTION:

It’s only 100 plus days in, aka the days of “shock and awe” as #47 bulldozes the government while what’s left of the Democratic party sit around with their fingers up their asses. My question to the dying party is and it might even be the answer, “Who or what are you afraid of?” Basically, you got your proverbial asses kicked by a bully and now you are kowtowering in the corner, awaiting a man/woman in a cape to save you. Wake up, there is no superhero in the wings. Oops, maybe I should have avoided the word “wake”, as your “wokeness” helped to beat you. Where in the news cycle is any Democrat’s serious response to anything???

For the last ten years, a full decade The Dems have based their entire political strategies in opposing one man. He, that man, aka #45 and now #47 is no longer an aberration, he is the real deal. He is the one who helped the GOP win in nearly every single demographic group. To make matters more dire the GOP have “the trifecta”,the control of the presidency, the House, and the Senate.

For the lackluster DEMS, two fronts must be confronted at one time. First, is the president himself aka #47. If the Dems party line is in be in opposition of any thing #47 is doing, they must stand up and confront it, loudly. Secondly, and more importantly, what is the party line besides confronting Trump’s agenda? The DEMS need someone to figure out exactly what went wrong  and then normalize, modernize, and adapt their policies to the needs of the people, all the people.

The ELECTION of 2024 is over and the “autopsy” of the Dems should be focused on the midterm election (2026). Now is the time when past party mistakes or misdeeds must be punished or paid for; a testing time when the degree of one's success or failure will be revealed.

The question is “Are the Democrats finally waking up and realizing that woke is broke?” The party needs to find a policy, a platform which will normalize and be more relatable to the Democratic Party faithful, to modernize the party for a new era. Facts are that the GOP won a majority of white women, young men, and remarkable numbers of Black and Latino voters. More people ended up voting for #47, even though many didn’t like him, because they liked the Democratic Party less. Wokeness hurt. Democrats learned the hard way that mothers care both about abortion rights and having their daughters compete fairly and safely on the playing field. The DEMS hyper-political correctness alienated at least half the country.

White progressives hold views to the far left such as “racism is built into our society” while many Blacks and Hispanics Americans don’t feel that way as the exit polls showed. Most believe that “America is the greatest country in the world.” They don’t care about DOGE.

College kids trashed campuses. Rather than stating that this is unacceptable DEMS worried about alienating one or another cohort in their coalition. So they let it continue and worse, let it spread.

Biden aka Milk Toast Joe was a disaster. And with Harris as his running mate, this duo left little path for any resurrection when it was discovered that Joe had no chance of winning in 2024. Harris was considered too extreme and out of touch. The 2022 midterms should have given any astute politician a hint that Joe was a “one and done” president. He should have been given his walking papers at that time, then there would have been time for a true primary campaign that could have produced a different nominee, a different, hopefully more successful path.

That time for a more successful path has come…There will be a tomorrow…But who will lead the Democratic Party is the unknown?

Part One: MILK TOAST JOE :The  Man from The Past, Not In The Present, and Certainly Not The Future.

If I was a leader of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY I would bluntly remind Joe Biden that he lost the election and tarnished the reputation of the party. He should stay secluded with his lovely wife, Dr.Jill, in their retirement home, avoiding all contact with the media. He should not, by any stretch of the imagination give any interviews. But alas, I am not a leader of the party and it appears there is no leader to tell the former president to “stand down” even though attempts have been made.

Example, on VE Day, the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe, Joseph Biden, the only living president born during WWII gave an interview with the BBC. During this session after praising the “Greatest Generation” Biden attempted  to define his legacy as president, adding a few snide comments about his successor.

Joe and Dr.Jill followed that interview by appearing on THE VIEW to which the former president commented, “I’m trying to figure out what’s the most significant and consequential role I can play, consistent with what I’ve done in the past”. My response would be…”Now, now, Joe, let’s rethink that, a loser on national television 100 days removed from your ouster.…”stand down”.

This past November Joe Biden was 82 years old, a true gentleman according to those who served from both sides of the aisle. Biden spent every moment from his humble beginnings as a New Castle County, Delaware Council Member for the 4th District in 1970 until he stepped aside as President of The United States in January 2025 in public service. Biden was in public life longer than some of his Democratic colleagues have been alive.

Joseph Biden was a Democratic stallworth, a loyal and reliable politician first appearing on the scene in 1970 as a 27 year old elected to New Castle County, Delaware as a Council Member for the 4th District. In 1972, he surprised Democrats by winning a long-shot Senate race at the age of 29, where he held that office for 36 years, Delaware’s longest serving Senator. During his tenure, Biden rose through the ranks of the party, serving twice as the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and once as the chairman Senate Judiciary Committee. He had many successes (The Brady Bill) and a few monumental failures(voting to invade Iraq/Clarence Thomas confirmation hearing).

In 2008, Barack Obama chose Joe Biden to be his running mate in the bid for President. January 20, 2009 they were inaugurated, forming a successful partnership and what appeared to be a trusting friendship for the two terms. Biden was disappointed when Obama supported the nomination of Hillary Clinton as Obama’s successor as the Democratic  candidate. NOTE: Biden had twice earlier run for the presidency, failing in 1988 and 2008, to gain the nomination of his Democratic party.

TRUMP loses the general election but wins the electoral college vote to become President #45. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden fade into the background for the time being, with the party knowing that Hillary was a “one and done” in her attempt.

After four years of TRUMP, Joe Biden gains the support of the party in an attempt at winning back the presidency. He would be a “transitional” president, a one and done serving only four years as the party searched for a younger candidate to succeed him. Biden’s  VP would be Kamala Harris. NOTE: Both had roots in county governments.

Biden’s presidency was rocky with fallout from CoVid, Russia invading Ukraine, the economic threat of China, rising inflation at home, and not dealing effectively with the border. His rating dropped dramatically.

Throughout the first two years (up to the midterm elections) questions arose regarding Biden’s mental capacity. His support staff issues numerous denials as if everything is “AOK”. His ratings dropped (NYT poll-July 2022) to where 64% of Democrats didn’t want the 79 year old (the oldest president in US history to run again. Age was the key factor.

A report from special counsel Robert K. Hur when investigating allegations that Biden mishandled sensitive documents after he left the vice presidency in 2017 describe Biden as “a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory”.

At this juncture in time the true leaders of the party should have stepped in to demand Biden “stand down. But alas, as some tried privately (Obama, Pelosi) the stubbornness and pride of Biden led him believe he could “do it again”, succeed as a second termer, even though that was not the original plan. The results were/are disastrous. The GOP have “the trifecta” with the control of the presidency, the House, and the Senate. The future of the party can not move on while Biden makes headlines. Again, he should stand down, avoid the spotlight. I am sure there is not one Dem candidate willing to hitch a ride on Biden’s legacy as they head into the midterm elections.

Part TWO: The Next Group Up…Who Could It Be?

Too many Dems have ties, either directly or indirectly with the presidency of Joe Biden. These ties can and probably will be used against the candidates as they seek office or re-election in the mid-terms. One example was Kamala Harris who was given only 100 days from Biden stepping down until election day where she could not and basically would not separate herself from Biden. This next group up needs to present a new identity, that is, who are they, what they stand for, and how are they going to effectively represent the wishes “of the people” not the politician wishes of a dying party. The GOP will nominate a follower of Trump, they will stand pat with what Trump offered and will proudly align with him.

The Election of 2024 quickly shifted from a “milk toast” incumbent versus a man who had influenced the GOPs for at least a decade. Joe finally stepped down or was pushed aside changing the contestants to a former talk show host/ president (#45) against a woman who “turned black”. The outcome was stunning, not just who became the 47th President of The United States but what the voting data actually revealed. THE DEMOCRATS are in a shambles, blaming each other or MILK TOAST JOE for losing the PRESIDENCY. There appears to be no direction for that party’s recovery.  From November on to this date the Democratic Party autopsy continued…Jon Stewart correctly commented “The country felt like government wasn’t working for them, and the Democrats in particular were taking their hard-earned money and giving it to people who didn’t deserve it as much as them. And so the Democrats got shellacked.” However, in the theory that the DEMS choose “wokeness” he said, “Those are the Democrats,”… “They didn’t talk about pronouns. They didn’t say ‘Latinx.’ It was the opposite.”…“They didn’t do the woke thing. They acted like Republicans for the last four months…”

The DEMOCRATIC PARTY needs a new voice, a new direction, possible with a new beginning. BIDEN was not the answer, nor was or is Harris. The tide has changed with increased numbers of eligible voters, their ethnicity, geographic location, and of course their age. TRUMP has been on the political scene since announcing his desire to be president in 2015. That means Trump is no longer the aberration. Young voters of 18, 19, 20 have lived with the Trump news cycles since they were 8/9/10 years old and they buy into his programs. The Democratic “resistance” has disappeared, the already defeated Democrats are cowering in their offices. The DEMS have their highest “unfavorable” rating (57%) ever… They talk about reaching across the aisle yet they have little/next to nothing to offer to make a deal. The DEMS or rather the ones left standing after the GOP trifecta, are no longer howling at the occurrences of what is happening. They, the DEMS are more afraid of losing more ground in the next midterm than they are of confronting the reality of the moment.

The party needs a figure head to arise, not soon but now, someone who is…hmmmmm, let’s see who is out there…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC: We all know who she is. At 35 years of age coming off of a tour with Bernie Sanders it appears AOC has been handed the baton as the runner for “left”. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will have some resistance from the mainstream of the party. But just maybe, she, a true progressive is what is needed to shake the foundation of the party. Realistically, I think she will have a difficult time getting the voters of Michigan or Pennsylvania to hit the lever in her direction but having her, a left-wing Latina from New York City on the campaign trail, in the primaries, and during any debates would prove enlightening.

Then there are the “governors” as in Josh Shapiro (Pennsylvania, a key state), Gretchen Whitmer( Michigan, a key state), Gavin Newsom (California, a key state) and on the horizon is a young 46 year old Wes Moore, Maryland’s first Black governor. As a voter and to take a look at their positions one only needs to peer into what was/is happening in their states. My question is…Do the Dems really want another governor ? Also there is Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota and Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky.

Throw in a true hit with ‘the “youngsters” there is Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Others who might joint the early festivities are Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona, and lest we forget Obama’s buddy Rahm Emanuel who has been reestablishing himself and let’s not forget Senators Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Raphael Warnock of Georgia.

But I ask…do any one of these Democrats offer a newer avenue, offer any new ideas  or just a rehashing of what the party offered last few outings and lost, substantially? “It’s a whole new opportunity for Democrats to get excited about a totally new slate of people,” said Adrienne Elrod, a party strategist who has worked on four presidential campaigns. “We got a deep bench who is ready to rock ’n’ roll, and I think a spirited debate and a robust primary will be a very good thing for our party.” No doubt it could be a good thing because it is a needed thing.

It is 2025, a unique time for The Democratic Party to “re-invent” itself. There is no president seeking re-election (God forbid), no sitting VP (Harris will be a one and done) seeking the job, and not a past presidential nominee waiting for another turn. And reminding what I wrote earlier: For the last ten years, a full decade The Dems have based their entire political strategies in opposing one man. He, that man, aka #45 and now #47 is no longer an aberration, he is the real deal.

It is time for a true Democrat to stand up, become vocal, call out the injustices, speak out against the corruption and most importantly plot a new course of action, one in line with the needs and wants of The American people.

WDDDDT? #47 AKA ERROR #2: “Only 552 days to the mid term election

The First 100 days: January 20, 2025 – April 30, 2025

DATELINE: Day 101: May 1

Just a reminder, it is only 552 days to the mid term election, November 3, 2026. Meanwhile, bright red MAGA aka “rewrite the rules” hats with “2028” in bold across the front are on sale for $50 at the TRUMP STORE. FYI: THE DONALD will be 82 years of age in 2028. This shit show ain’t gonna end nicely folks. If he can and did pardon the “patriots” what will stop him from running again, and utilizing his political power and his power (?) over MAGA Maniacs, offering free rein to disrupt the legal political way of electing a president….sidestep the Constitution…”Don’t worry, I’ll pardon you.”

During THE FIRST 100 DAYS of ERROR #2, a short time which seemed like a lifetime, our illustrious leader in his offensive style took advantage of the unique weaknesses of America’s existing leadership. The DEFEATED DEMS are cowering in their offices with no signs of any leadership. Chuck and Hakeem are irrelevant. The DEMS have their highest “unfavorable” rating (57%) ever… They talk about reaching across the aisle yet they have little/next to nothing to offer to make a deal. They are sorry assed losers for sure. These helpless, hapless idiots who represent the Democratic party are twittering their thumbs, while the leader of the free world is rolling out one executive order (142 plus to date) after another. Most GOP politicians are no better because they fear the dude. The phase around campus is to “protect yourself from his rancor and retribution”. So, life goes on in D.C. with a, “No, thank you. I don’t want to appear on one of Trump’s ‘lists.’

The self proclaimed “boss of everyone and everything” added “the world” on DAY 100, and why not as there isn’t one person willing to put a halt to his madness. On January 20th, the Orange Guy inherited a robust labor market, an enviably growing economy and a record-breaking stock market. By DAY 10 we, the American people sensed we were conned aka fucked. Today, Day 101 THE GREAT MANIPULATOR blamed the economy on the BIDEN administration. WTF?

On the sidelines, we hear little from his children, the ones who in his previous reign as #45 never shut up and were in every photo op. Seems they are too busy running the TRUMP TRUST which when all is said and done benefits #47 immensely. One example is the WORLD FINANCIAL, a TRUMP cryptocurrency firm run by Donald, Jr. Not considered a “conflict of interest” because The Wharton School Graduate (Class of 1968) has very broad immunities as president. A spokeswoman for President Trump noted that his “assets are in a trust managed by his children,” and that as a result, “there are no conflicts of interest.”

His 100 DAYS of Hell with 142 plus executive orders, his initiatives, economic turmoil, and numerous reversals causing Exorcist like head spins are testing American democracy. The S&P 500 has fallen about 8 percent, the worst performance for the first 100 days of a presidency since Gerald Ford (1974) , you remember him, the first President of the United States who had not been elected as either president or vice president. His 895 days in office remains the shortest of all U.S. presidents who did not die in office.

According to WaPo DAFFY DON offers us a “presidency on steroids” said not in a good way but with hopes that there remains ample time for the scales of government to rebalance. It is only 552 days to the mid term election, November 3, 2026…to be continued…

WDDDDT?: #47: THE ERROR #2: TARIFFS ARE GOOD BUSINESS

Dateline: February 26-28: The White House (Posted 3/31/25)

How much are you willing to pay for a car made in Europe or Asia?

How much do you trust a non-elected advisory who has a room in the White House?

DAY 38: 2/26/25: #47 held his first full cabinet meeting of Error #2. Invited to attend even though he is not an “official cabinet member”, Elon Musk dressed in storm trooper black, spoke to the crowd of ass kissing idiots (The Cabinet) singing the praises of his newest venture to strip the government of its workers and funding, saving us taxpayers billions of dollars. Yet, since day #1 egg prices continue to soar. Secondly, at the meeting #47 was willing to add a 25% tariff  on goods from the European Union. The “former reality TV host” announced that Zelensky would be visiting the US to sign a mineral deal which basically strips the Ukraine of its ore as repayment for the aid she has received from the US in the war against Russia. Later in the day there was a statement saying transgender service members would be separated from the US military unless they receive an exemption.

DAY 40: 2/28/25: Lo and behold, President Zelensky, inappropriately attired according to some but in the same vain as Musk, was met with scorn, distrust, and had out and out lies spewed at his while on live media coverage. The poor man who left his war torn nation, one facing physical abuses daily had verbal abuses tossed his way. The ever gracious leader of the Ukraine was gang raped by JD Vance (or whatever his new name is) and our notorious leader who said, President Z was “gambling with world war three” and told the Ukrainian president to come back “when he is ready for peace”. Our guy #47 then calmly left for his usual very expensive golf weekend at Mar Shit Hole.

FYI: As of November 29, 2019, the US government spent $115 million dollars ($115,000,000.00) on 226 trips to Mar A Largo for 108 rounds of golf. THE GOLF NEWS reported $550,000.00 was spent on third party golf cart rentals and at least $500,000.00 in overnight stays at TRUMP OWNED PROPERTIES for the Secret Service members protecting #45. The COAST GUARD cutter stationed off the shore in Florida is probably gratis. Overall, the cost totals well over 287 years of PRESIDENTIAL SALARY. But, he “donates” his $400,000.00. The totals were even higher, coming in at $142 MILLION with $59 MILLION spent on trips to MAR-A-LARGO via Air Force One. THE TRUMP ORGANIZATION owns and operates 17 different courses. And no one saw this as a conflict of interest.

January 20, 2021, the last day for #45, he had visited one of HIS golf courses (AKA “adult day care center”) 308 times and has recorded playing at least 150 rounds of golf for a total of 2655:47 hours spent hitting the little ball .Twenty-two (22) percent of his days in office were spent at ONE OF HIS RESORTS.

The Road of #47:The Cost of a Vanity Handicap v D.O.G.E.

Date line: 2/22/25: THE WHITE HOUSE

According to DOGE their combined efforts to date saved the USA 55 billion. That is an amazing and tremendous amount of moolah. But is it actual cash? Well, NO, on paper it is an estimated amount of previously earmarked monies not being distributed as planned.

I have a plan to save some more cash and mine does not fire any one person. It just asks #47 to refrain from playing golf every weekend, nine times since January 20th on the company dime at one of his resorts, at the cost to date of $10.7 million. Disregarding a “conflict of interest” by the president’s entourage staying at Mar a Largo, a for profit enterprise, I offer these statistics from when #47 was #45.

By the end of his first reign, January 20, 2021,#45, had visited one of HIS golf courses (AKA “adult day care center”) 308 times and has recorded playing at least 150 rounds of golf for a total of 2655:47 hours spent hitting the little ball or at least time spent in his resort. Twenty-two (22) percent of his days in office were spent at ONE OF HIS RESORTS.

I beg you to cut the man some slack, he donates his $400,000.00 salary to charity, and I’m sure his retirement stipend of $219,000.00 a year for life will be donated as well. The GOLFER IN CHIEF is not the first president to “donate” his salary. Washington was forced by Congress to take a salary after George asked not to have one, and HERBERT HOOVER and JFK both donated their’s. According to that leftist rag HUFF POST, as of November 29, 2019, the US government spent $115 million dollars ($115,000,000.00) on 226 trips to Mar A Largo for 108 rounds of golf. THE (I’m sure it’s another leftist fake news organization) GOLF NEWS reported $550,000.00 was spent on third party golf cart rentals and at least $500,000.00 in overnight stays at TRUMP OWNED PROPERTIES for the Secret Service members protecting #45 while he bested (he has a vanity handicap of 5…NFW) his opponents. The COAST GUARD cutter stationed off the shore in Florida is probably gratis. Overall, the cost totals well over 287 years of his donated PRESIDENTIAL SALARY. FORBES, another Commie pinko rag, suggested the totals were even higher, coming in at $142 MILLION with $59 MILLION spent on trips to MAR-A-LARGO via Air Force One.

Costs include prep, fuel, salaries for staff and trip on Air Force One, three squares for all, golf carts for Secret Service, room and board at resort (no discounted prices) for all, golf green fees, presidential limos/motorcade to and from, Coast Guard cutter off shore, helicopter and drones for surveillance, pre-visit scouting (that’s how they found the rifle), post visit clean up, etc, etc. So, at 2017 prices (GAO estimate) of $3,383,250 a weekend, let’s have Elon Musk actually look at the books to start the savings this weekend.

The Road of #47: RECIPROCAL TARIFFS 101

Date line: 2/13/25: The White House

Just another day of chaos and confusion caused by the “shock and awe” tactics of #47. While the helpless, hapless idiots who represent the Democratic party are twittering their thumbs, the leader of the free world is rolling out one executive order after another. We all know that the DEM party is extinct, complete with no dignity, a group having lost its supporters, and those DEMS who have been re-elected or remain at their positions until the mid-terms, are scared shitless to oppose the wrath of #47. Geez, even most GOP politicians fear the dude. So they lollygag and/or are dillydallying while #47 does whatever he wants, choosing whomever he wants for positions the candidate is not qualified to hold. The phase around campus is to “protect yourself from his rancor and retribution”.  It should be noted that Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) was the lone Republican to oppose Kennedy and Gabbard.

Good Ole Boy Mitch, a thorn in the side when #47 was #45 has no problem putting on his big boy pants and calling it for whatever it is. The reciprocal tariffs offered today will in Mitch’s thoughts cost the average Kentuckian up to $1200 each year. Check this out: Canada when the tariffs were suggested announced retaliatory tariffs taking hits on US distilled spirits, specifically Kentucky bourbon.

McConnel stated: "It's high time for America's closest neighbors to take the crisis at our border seriously,""But no matter our best intentions, tariffs are bad policy.”“It will drive the cost of everything up. In other words, it will be paid for by American consumers. I mean, why would you want to get into a fight with your allies over this?”

These new tariffs are being calculated which will in turn lead to negotiations which in itself is not a bad thing especially since #47 wrote the book on it, “The Art Of The Deal”. “You guys lower yours then we lower ours”, etc…It should be noted that Howard Lutnick, Trump’s nominee for commerce secretary, said that the soonest tariffs could be in place is April 2.

Coming Soon: KASH PATEL and The Dismantling of The F.B.I aka THE DEEP STATE CONSPIRACY.

and the road goes on forever: POLITICS 101: The 2025 Version

 POLITICS 101: The 2025 Version

It’s over awhile since I posted anything on this blog. It is not that I lost interest, it is not that nothing was happening, it was just “sometimes life gets in the way”. For those interested my other blog intuneandintime.com is still kicking, mainly about politics, music, and the downfall of my beloved New York Rangers. Also, my 2024 music “hit list” can be found along with other pompous and opinionated degenerates on PooPlist.

January 2025: As I near my 73rd trip around the sun I reflect on how me, an aging study of political phenomena (history buff) can slowly become anesthetized by the comings and goings of our democracy. Yes, I was somewhat deflated by the Election of 2024, how it shifted from a “milk toast” incumbent versus a man who has influenced the GOPs for at least a decade, to a contest of a former talk show host/ president (#45) against a woman who “turned black”. The outcome was stunning, not just who became the 47th President of The United States but what the voting data actually revealed.

THE DEMOCRATS are in a shambles, blaming each other or MILK TOAST JOE for losing the PRESIDENCY, even though up to the very end he thought he could win the election. Delusional to say the least. There appears to be no direction for that party’s recovery. Considering even when the DEMS won a 2024 (Senate/House/ State) election, the GOP losing numbers were substantially higher than previous years. HARRIS gave a “gracious”concession speech to her supporters, many seen crying as Joe continued to hide in the WHITE HOUSE preparing to leave. Where the party goes from here is anybody’s guess. WaPo stated “the party suddenly faces a vacuum at the top” and “political parties rarely give a starring role to defeated White House aspirants” except for Donald TRUMP. That trend suggests HARRIS is a one and done candidate.

As far as TRUMP goes, he has been on the political scene for quite a bit of time, announcing his desire to be president in 2015. That means Trump is no longer considered an aberration. Young voters of 18, 19, 20 have lived with the Trump news cycles since they were 8 years old. It is little wonder why Trump made gains with the young voters.

From November on the Democratic Party autopsy continued…Jon Stewart complained, “The country felt like government wasn’t working for them, and the Democrats in particular were taking their hard-earned money and giving it to people who didn’t deserve it as much as them.

The “TRIFECTA” is there, Republicans will enter Congress this term with 53 SENATE seats, the HOUSE (Speaker Mike Johnson, who was re-elected) is theirs with the smallest majority in history: 217 to 215, and #45 is now #47. The restraints on the president will become looser than they have been in many, many years. Well, at least until the mid-term election of 2026, which in political days is quite a ways off. However, The DEMOCRATIC PARTY needs a new voice, a new direction, possible with a new beginning. SLEEPY JOE was not the answer, nor was the woman who “turned black”. The tide has changed with increased numbers of voters, their ethnicity, location, and age.

THE DEEP STATE:

Imagine a time, biblical if you will, when Christ himself walked into the temple , seeing the “money changers” who were turning the house of prayer into a den of thieves. They, the “money changers” (Matthew 21:12-13) were exploiting the poor by charging high prices for the exchange of foreign coins, also by selling doves (sacrificial animals) at a exorbitant price.

While watching the church service attended by (or in honor of) the incoming #47th President of The United States I noticed standing collectively in the crowd were Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Sundar Pichai (Google), Tim Cook (Apple), and of course the omnipresent Elon Musk aka “the world’s richest man”, all tech titans seeking a stronger relationship with the President, an oligarchy if you will. My mind started to wonder to the phrase…WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?)…see (Matthew 21:12-13)

Here we have the richest of the rich congregating in the crowd of St. John’s Church, Washington D.C. the same church where Trump in his role as #45 , June 1, 2020, held a Bible (upside down) posing for a photo-op during the George Floyd riots in D.C. reclaiming DC for the law abiding people.("I am your president of law and order.”)

Oh, Ye, gentle mistresses and most distinguished gentlemen, and others… The opinions and observations are solely my own views, and I take full responsibility for any errors of fact, not to mention any predictions that prove to be wildly inaccurate.

ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN (and WOMEN)

                                      "AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY"

STARRING:
SEAN SPICER:White House Press Secretary and Communications Director
Sean Spicer was communications director of the RNC from 2011 to 2017 and it's chief strategist from 2015-2017 until he accepted the job in #45's administration. During his tenure at RNC  Spicer was critical of candidate Trump's comments regarding Mexican immigrants being involved in crimes as wells comments made about John McCain.

Things did NOT go well on Day 1 of his new gig when he was criticized for making false claims regarding the crowd numbers at the inauguration. He has gotten better in front of the press corps but is best represented in a SNL skit where he is portrayed by Melissa McCarthey.

KellyAnne (Fitzpatrick) Conway: CHIEF ADVISOR to the President
Formerly the President/CEO of THE POLLING COMPANY,Inc, Ms. Conway served as a GOP strategist, pollster and campaign manager who endorsed Ted Cruz in the GOP primaries and was critical of candidate Donald Trump. When Cruz dropped out Conway jumped ship being named Trump's senior campaign advisor before being named campaign manager a few weeks later. Her distinction is being the first woman to successfully run a presidential campaign. In December of 2016, President-Elect Trump appointed Conway as Counselor to the President.
"ALTERNATIVE FACTS?"  Alternative facts" is a phrase used by U.S. Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway during a Meet the Press interview on January 22, 2017, in which she defended White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's false statement about the attendance at Donald Trump's inauguration as President of the United States. When pressed during the interview with Chuck Todd to explain why Spicer "utter[ed] a provable falsehood", Conway stated that Spicer was giving "alternative facts." Todd responded, "Look, alternative facts are not facts. They're falsehoods."

Mike Pompeo- CIA Director-On January 23, 2017, the Senate confirmed Rep. Mike Pompeo, a Republican (Tea Party) congressman from Kansas, as director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Pompeo, 53, has served in the House of Representatives since 2011. He succeeds a 25-year veteran of the CIA, John Brennan, who's served as the agency's chief since 2013.
Pompeo is a graduate (#1 of his class ) at The U.S. Military Academy at West Point (Mechanical Engineering,) served in the Regular Army 1986-1991, received his J.D. from Harvard Law where he was editor of Harvard Law Review.

James Comey- (Retained as )FBI Director (only for me to ask the question "WHY?")
NEWSWEEK Nov 7,2016James Comey should not simply be fired as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He must be barred forever from any form of public service. There's a stinging comment from NEWSWEEK, not a good endorsement by any means.Yet, after screwing up the e-mail investigations a few moments before the electorate hit the polls may or may not have swayed public opinion of Hillary Clinton but needless to say this guy should have stepped down BUT NO, he is retained by #45, probably for a job well done.

Rex Tillerson  Secretary of State. U.S. senators grilled former Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson about his past dealings with Russia at his recent confirmation hearing. One was about his receiving Putin's (Russia's) ORDER OF FRIENDSHIP to which even Senator LINDSEY GRAHAN (R-SC) called "unnerving".Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., asked Tillerson whether he thought Vladimir Putin was a war criminal (Tillerson's answer: "I would not use that term"), while Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., pressed him on Exxon opposing sanctions against Russia.    At his confirmation hearing on Jan. 11, 2017, Tillerson rejected the assertion that he ever tried to scuttle sanctions."I have never lobbied against sanctions personally," Tillerson said. "To my knowledge, Exxon never directly lobbied against sanctions."That’s an artfully crafted answer that’s pretty misleading and raises my suspicions.

So that leads us to:
Michael Flynn National Security Advisor. National security adviser Michael Flynn privately discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with that country's ambassador to the United States during the month before President Trump took office, contrary to public assertions by Trump officials. Flynn's communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were interpreted by some senior U.S. officials as an inappropriate and potentially illegal signal to the Kremlin that it could expect a reprieve from sanctions that were being imposed by the Obama administration in late December to punish Russia for its alleged interference in the 2016 election. Vice President Mike Pence did not know that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn may have spoken about sanctions with the Russian Ambassador in January pre-inauguration, and believes "it's a problem," a senior White House adviser told CNN Friday.  Three administration officials said Pence only knew what Flynn told him -- that he had not talked about sanctions -- before Pence stood before cameras last month and vouched for Flynn. One official said Pence was trying to "get to the bottom of it."Flynn cannot rule out that he spoke to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak about sanctions, an aide close to the National Security Adviser said Friday.Flynn, the aide said, has "no recollection of discussing sanctions," but added that the National Security Adviser "couldn't be certain that the topic never came up."Flynn has avoided making firm commitments about maintaining US sanctions on Russia, according to US and European officials familiar with his meetings in recent weeks.
Officials said Flynn’s references to the election-related sanctions were explicit. Two of those officials went further, saying that Flynn urged Russia not to overreact to the penalties being imposed by President Barack Obama, making clear that the two sides would be in position to review the matter after Trump was sworn in as president.
“Kislyak was left with the impression that the sanctions would be revisited at a later time,” said a former official.

JEFF SESSIONS: ATTORNEY GENERAL
This was a bitter and racially charged nomination battle to which Senator Elizabeth Warren (D- Mass) was silenced. In a party-line vote, 49 to 43, senators  forced Ms. Warren into silence, at least on the Senate floor, until the showdown over Mr. Sessions’s nomination is complete.
Mr. Sessions, an Alabama Republican, survived a near-party-line vote, 52 to 47, in the latest sign of the extreme partisanship at play as Mr. Trump strains to install his cabinet. No Republicans broke ranks in their support of a colleague who will become the nation’s top law enforcement official after two decades in the Senate.

TOM PRICE: Dept of Health and Services  Mr. Price is the first doctor to lead the department since Dr. Louis W. Sullivan stepped down at the end of the first Bush administration in January 1993.

Tom Price will lead President Trump’s efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.

Steven T. Mnuchin- Treasury Secretary has vowed that “there would be no absolute tax cut for the upper class.”
But under the tax overhaul that House Republicans are pushing, or under similar proposals that Mr. Trump has offered, the guarantee looks impossible to fulfill.
