The Rise and Fall of The New York Rangers (Day-2805) (2-3-0)
October 14, 2025: Conor McDavid Comes To Town:
As advertised, Conor McDavid is one of the best if not the best player in the NHL.Tonight, he was just one of the guys on the ice of MSG as both teams played an exceptional game. Note that the Rangers did not have any penalties called against them in the 60 minute contest, nor did they score during that time. As a matter of fact the NYR have not scored in…well, seems like forever. Igor for NY and Skinner for Edmonton stood on their heads making the saves. The Fourth line of Sam Carrick Matt Rempe and Adam Edstrom was a huge, constant threat in front of Edmonton’s net .Braden Schneider played in the absence of Carson Soucy, who is on injured reserve after suffering an upper body injury on Saturday. The Rangers outshot the Oilers 30-22 , losing 2 zip (1 open netter)…NYR 2-3-0…to be continued…
The Rise and Fall of The New York Rangers (Day-2803)
October 12, 2025: NY Rangers v Alex Oveckin
Hmmmm…Sam Carrick and Noah Laba…Sunday night the NYR looked good, no, better than good, great against the Washington Caps. Unfortunately, it was a 1-nothing losing effort. The Cuylle-Miller- Sheary line was a wonder to behold, getting the majority of ice time/5 on 5 shots on net.Mika continues to impress every shift, and Quick was all but amazing in net. The fourth line causes “positive chaos” as I was awaiting Rempe to plant Tom Wilson at some point but smarter heads prevailed. Rangers are now 2-2-0… to be continued…
