WDDDDT?: Cancel The Payment/ Sanctuary Cities

   Over the many years of doing my home budget as well as paying my taxes I learned a few things about interest rates, the length of loans/investments, and most importantly, what goes out (expenditures) can not mathematically exceed what comes in (income). One simple example would be: If you have a hundred dollars, Euros, pesos, or whatever, then you can not spend 150 of that currency. Well, actually you can (credit) but you will be screwed when the note is due (interest). Hence, our federal budget problems.

   During the first stages of DOGE, remember the days of Elon Musk playing nice-nice with the returning resident of The White House, Elon promised to stream line the “out of control” government spending, to search out and remove any “double dipping”, and to expose the many excesses in the US budget. He did so with a sense of great anguish arising from the work forces which would be affected, furloughed or out and out fired.

   At first, angry about how he was doing it, a “rip and run approach”, I then looked for any positive(s) to what he/they were suggesting. My ideal would be to develop a zero based budget. That is, a budget where one starts with nothing, zero as a basis, then lists the(mandatory) non-discretionary spending items. Next, you determine what is actually needed (equipment, salaries, pensions, personnel, supplies, materials, etc) in developing what would be the “bottom line” expenditures. Using that figure DOGE experts would determine the “income”, that is the factual expected (not projected) monies coming in such as tariffs, taxes (local, state, federal), etc. To that end, divide that total number to see how much we pay as a citizen, state, local government, et. Al. But alas, this will never happen. 

   Despite what DOGE originally attempted to do, the governmental costs continue to rise while the Trump administration persists to cut away, mostly affecting areas which need the funding. This administration, according to the way I look at it and it may be up to others objections, is currently targeting states which are labeled “blue states”, those states where voters are traditionally Democrats.

   News item: January 29, 2026: The Trump Administration, specifically targeting sanctuary cities and states threatens to withhold funding to 14 Democratic states and Washington, D.C. in an attempt “to reduce the improper and fraudulent use of these funds” which impede his immigration policies. Hmmmm. To that suggestion of “withholding” from those states I offer an alternative. Let those states stop feeding the coffers of the Federal government in the exact amount which is being withheld. Nothing gained, nothing lost.

   Let’s compare and contrast just two states, very large populous states, one “red”, Virginia and one “blue”, California. Californians paid about $275.6 billion more to the federal government than they received, let’s repeat that “more than they received”… while Virginians received about $89.0 billion more than they paid. Again, “more than they paid”…Whew…So in actuality California and New York State along with others are subsidizing the “comforts” afforded to states aka the “getters” or “recipient” states that receive MORE than they offer. Seven of the ten (10) “getters” states are “red”.Basically, states with residents whom are angry at the subsidies our government is offering to “others”.

   In FY (fiscal year) 2024, the federal government collected around $5.07 trillion from states and their residents through taxes on individuals and businesses. The federal government then redistributed about $4.87 trillion back to states and residents. Of the $5.07 T,California (15.9%), Texas (8.2%), New York(7.6%), and Florida(6.4%), the four most populous states contributed 38% of the total, averaging about $15,000 per resident.In terms of net contributions, Nineteen (19) states sent more to the federal government than they received in 2024.

   Some less-populated states paid more than the $15,000 per. Massachusetts sent $21,933 per person to the federal government. Nebraska $21,922, Minnesota with $21,106 and Washington, DC with a high concentration of high-income earners sent a whopping $64,427 per resident. NOTE: Despite paying the highest federal taxes per capita, DC residents do not have voting representation in Congress, “taxation without representation”.

   The states that contributed the least revenue per person; West Virginia ($4,912), Mississippi ($5,161), and New Mexico ($6,033).

   The US national debt as of January 2026 is over $38.43 TRILLION, roughly $2.25 Trillion over the preceding year. Debt is not new to the US economy. The U.S. has carried debt since it was founded. According to Congressman David Schweikert's Daily Debt Monitor, the total national debt (12/17/25) has grown by $69,433.37 PER SECOND for the past year. It is estimated (Schweikert) that the debt will reach $39 Trillion by March 6, 2026.

   A local lame brained MAGA asswipe spends every moment of every day on various social media sites finding a way to praise the current leader of the free world. This cretin is currently applauding the recent murders committed by ICE in Minneapolis, actually stating, without any proof, that the victim ALEX PRETTI opened fired a weapon on the ICE agents and deserved to be shot dead in the street. This pontificating asswipe claims to be pro-cop, pro-life, pro-NRA, pro-MAGA, hates “illegals” and is “a law biding Christian”. He further stated that anyone who is protesting ICE is “anti-American”, should leave the country or risk being shot. After reading his daily bullshit I finally responded, “What The Fuck are you talking about?” Now I am deemed anti-American, a true enemy to our Democracy. In his response to me The Moron made a statement about Governor Walz whom he called “Kamala’s boy”. Awhile back he called Kamala, a “fucking monkey”.  To him, I  again respond among other things…” When one lacks constructive solutions, name calling/insults becomes a convenient distraction…”

   WDDDDT?: It is cold, very cold in Minneapolis…

   The Gestapo was the Nazi secret police focused on internal surveillance and repression, The Brownshirts (SA) were the Nazi Party's original street-fighting militia, responsible for intimidation and violence. While I am not equating ICE and/or The National Guard to be either of these aforementioned organizations, I am questioning whether OUR MASTER OF EXAGGERATION is attempting to….”put the fear of God” in those whom oppose his wishes by deploying these American men and women.

  The media, mostly the left wing branch depicts ICE agents (“agents of the government”) as the hooded and masked riot gear men walking the streets of our (sanctuary) towns/cities demanding citizens to provide identification, without a warrant, without proof of their authority. In “occupied” (their words) cities protests have developed, The other side, the so called right wing depicts those heavily armed men and woman as highly trained professionals. Meanwhile, protests are mounting. To quell the rising tides of protests, THE ORANGE GUY has threatened to send in “more troops” to force the citizen to “stand down”.  This “Police State” mentality is exactly what happened in German many years ago.

   Those detained aka “arrested” by ICE will temporarily have their legal rights denied. In some cases, Miranda warnings are not read, Right to counsel non-existent, no notification of charges filed, with relatives left in the dark as to where there loved ones are. Even “illegals” are afforded these rights, whether you agree with that “right”  or not.

   Over the last several weeks, two legal, full blooded Americans were murdered by ICE agents in the city of Minneapolis. Today, Governor Walz spoke with the Supreme Leader requesting to remove “untrained” militia from his state. Trump stated the two found some common ground. Let’s see how it goes.

 48 SECONDS:

January 10th, I reported an incident I titled “47 SECONDS”. It started like this:  

 It is the last 47 seconds of one’s life, recorded by numerous people, recorded from different angles, actual angles and then interpreted by political angles. Seated in the driver’s seat of your car, which is idling in a road with sirens and car horns blasting in the background, you hear your spouse who is outside the vehicle say, “Drive, baby, drive”. Someone else, a male’s voice is beseeching you three times in rapid succession to “get out of the car”, “get out of the car” and finally, “get out of the fucking car”.

   Today’s blog segment is “48 SECONDS”, one second longer but with the same result. At the end of the 48 seconds of video recorded in the streets of Minneapolis someone dies, again at the hand of an ICE agent or possible more than one. 

   The same questions I had on January 10th arise again and again the questions are answered almost immediately on the nightly news by folks who were not there. Each answer is filled with hear say and innuendo offered by opinionated folks freely commenting with a slant toward their political beliefs, left and right. I would just like to have the factual answers.

   What was he doing there at that intersection/street/area?

   Did he always carry his legal firearm?

   Was he a threat or an inconvenience? 

   Who is this “agent” and what was his training?

   Why did the agent(s) shoot?

    

   This is again another complicated incident, on both sides of the spectrum. My final question is , “What are the ground rules as a citizen, a protester, and/or an ICE agent ?”

   This dopey motherfucker continues his second reign of terror aka THE ERROR Part II unimpeded by a spineless Congress and a foolish electorate. Any reasonable person would have realized something was amiss on “Day One” in 2025 when THE DONALD pardoned the “Gestapo” aka his “patriotic” Proud Boys and their ilk. Remember, those who trespassed on and in the Capitol building, assaulted government officials, and in general made a mockery of the United States of America on the international news for all the world to see. Like the assassination of JFK, like September 11, I will always remember those vivid images of yore as I will those of January 6th.Shit, I even know who “Grumpy Shield” is, one of the pardoned “patriots”.  As promised, THE ORANGE GUY in AIR FORCE ONE let those fuckers go free. To those who voted for him, most of you a second/third time, shame on you. To those who did not stop this travesty from happening a second time, shame on us. To all, just a reminder, the mid term elections will be held on November 3, 2026. Hopefully, sanity will prevail and a new beginning, a new #3 IMPEACHMENT can put a halt to this madness.

   Leading up to November 3, 2026, the “Great Manipulator” has a few things to worry about. All the seats in the House of Representatives and a third of the Senate’s seats will be contested. When Congress reconvenes for the 2027 session, a few new faces could turn the tide and “THE ERROR Part 2” could slowly come to an end. To me, this “Former Real Estate Agent” has been using this term as President to hone his real estate skills. Yet, invading Venezuela without Congressional approval is an impeachable offense. He also forced the National Guard into cities around the country without consent of local governors and mayors, and did the same by adding ICE.

   Some leftist rags say THE FORMER TABLOID FIXTURE has used these tactics as a smoke screen, as a way of avoiding the release of The EPSTEIN FILES. Alas, the American public have a better chance of seeing The Wharton School Graduate (Class of 1968) Federal Tax filings he promised us years ago before we ever see The Epstein Files.

   This week at Davos ,Deranged Don is again targeting Greenland, a threat opposed by many of our international allies, The Penn State Grad, Class of 1968 suggests tariffs be imposed on those who deny him.  Here is a guy who is taking a baseball bat to a disagreement while asking politely, “you wanna fuck with me, I’ll beat your ass”. A few hours later, as always, he backs down stating he has an “understanding”, a plan is being formed. That plan is with NATO not Denmark/Greenland.

   Without naming any specific leader, but we all know who he was referring to, Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada stated in Davos, Switzerland, “Every day we’re reminded that we live in an era of great-power rivalry, That the rules-based order is fading. That the strong can do what they can, and the weak must suffer what they must.” Carney further warned, “The middle powers must act together because if we’re not at the table, we’re on the menu.” Hmmm, what a great comparison, “Are you the diner or are you the dinner???” To this, our fearless leader has threatened substantial tariffs on Canada, a retribution tariff. 

   Now I will give credit to THE MASTER OF EXAGGERATION. His not so subtle goals (Neo-colonialism) all revolve around controlling what is “in the Earth”, not a bad thing, however… His agreement with Ukraine(February 2025) was to establish a joint 50/50 investment in Ukraine's natural resources  as a way of “assisting Ukraine” to "pay back" the substantial U.S. aid provided during the ongoing conflict with Russia. This agreement has been modified at least two times without stating the exact details of said agreement.

   Let us not forget THE FELONIOUS ONE’s desire to annex CANADA to be our 51 state. Canada, Greenland and the vast territories of the Arctic have an abundance of natural resources, including critical minerals and rare earths. He revisited that desire of claiming Canada last Monday when he posted an altered image on social media that featured a map of American flags superimposed over both Canada, the United States, and Greenland. Prime Minister Carney, a pretty intelligent cookie, a former investment executive who has served as the governor of Canada and England’s central banks, responded with, “There is a strong tendency for countries to go along to get along,” he said. “To accommodate. To avoid trouble. To hope that compliance will buy safety. It won’t.” Our guy followed it up at the end of his one hour twenty minutes of remarks by saying,“I think God is very proud of the job I’ve done”.

   Not to be left out, the control of the Panama Canal is “sort of” still on the table. “Sort of. I must say. Sort of. That’s sort of on the table.” The “Canal” facilitates billions of dollars of trade annually, and as an area which is vital to U.S. supply chains. China’s growing influence in not only Panama but in the region has the MAN IN ORANGE quite concerned.

   Oops, almost forgot Venezuela. The drug king’s capture was a thinly vailed smoke screen for an easy oil grab hustle. Unfortunately, the oil magnates of EXXON and other American oil conglomerates are not interested in spending any monies in that country. The US is currently selling 50 million barrels of the Venezuelan oil that had previously been trapped by a partial U.S. blockade.

  Wearing his Nobel Prize for Peace medal, this “Man of Peace reminded us of the wars he has ended. In December, he brokered a deal between The DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) and Rwanda to end decades of conflict in eastern Congo. In the peace agreement The US gained access to critical minerals like cobalt, lithium and copper, challenging China's dominance. Yet, the fighting in the area continues. There is no true peace. The deal was a business deal with minimal military interactions. US Africa Envoy MASSAD BOULOS (father of  MICHAEL BOULOS son-in-law of the 45th and 47th U.S President) along with a US hedge fund executive GENTRY BEACH (groomsman at Trump Jr.’s wedding) negotiated the deal.

  A few weeks before the Congo deal the US had announced a new “critical mineral” deal with five (5) nations: Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia.I sense some insider trading might be taking place…to be continued…

In that case with NYPD requesting, I’m out of the car in a flash. But, ICE? The answer now is clearer to me. Even if the storm trooper outfitted agent requests in a hostile manner to “get out of the fucking car” you bet you ass I will.

   Soucy is still out and now Vinny Trocheck has been placed on “long term” IR…The Leafs have Auston Matthews, William Nylander and the once very popular Captain of the NY Islanders, John Tavaras leading the way. Meanwhile, The Rangers will have all players attacking the net as a goal, any goal will be deeply appreciated.

   Finally, the Rangers score tying it up at “one”, going into OT holding off Matthews to no shots…until…Rangers lose 2:1…to be continued...
